Where We Work

The Maine Seacoast Mission serves communities strung along 120 miles of rocky coastline and up to 20 miles out to sea.

Click on the map below to see the ten unbridged islands and seven Washington County schools we serve. Our youth, food, and housing rehab programs are based in Cherryfield. Our food programs serve towns on either side of Route 1 from Steuben to Columbia Falls. Our housing rehabilitation teams, in partnership with Downeast Community Partners, cover an area from Gouldsboro to Machias.

Known for its wild blueberry barrens and, on the coast, its rocky harbors and powerful tides, Washington County is often beautiful but harsh.
