Youth Development

Ed Greaves Education
EdGE (Ed Greaves Education) is an innovative youth development program of the Maine Sea Coast Mission for students in grades 4-8 in coastal Washington County, Maine. It is designed to encourage youth to stay engaged in school, build character, improve academic performance and build self-confidence. In 2006, EdGE was recognized as the outstanding 21st Century Community Learning Center Afterschool program by the Maine Afterschool Network.

Scholarships
The Maine Sea Coast Mission has been providing scholarships to students from the islands and coastal communities of Downeast Maine since 1918. It has provided over $1 million in scholarships since that time.
