Island Outreach Staff

Rev. Rob Benson, a Yale Divinity School graduate ordained in the United Church of Christ, brings pastoral sensitivity to the challenges of our interdependent lives: once as hospice chaplain in Washington, DC, and now as Pastor to the Outer Islands, serving Great Cranberry, Frenchboro, Isle au Haut, Matinicus, and Monhegan. Music, swimming, and his family bring a fullness of joy to his life.

Sharon Daley, R.N., Sunbeam Nurse, has had many nursing roles working with adults and children in both large city hospitals and rural areas. Those experiences have aided her working on the Sunbeam V visiting Frenchboro, Isle au Haut, Matinicus and Swan’s Island. Combining cutting edge technology with a personal touch, Sharon utilizes the telemedicine unit for counseling, primary care and education. She lives on an island and commutes to four other islands.
