Rev. David Runnion-Bareford is minister of the Second Baptist Church in Islesboro. He is a graduate of Wheaton College and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. He and his wife Lauren are enjoying the Island with Jon (age 8 ) and Shay (age 10), the youngest of their multi-racial family of 12 children. Lauren is an artist working with the Islesboro Community Center as well as her own studio. David is ordained in the United Church of Christ, and is a Lay Minister of Word and Sacrament in the Anglican Church of North America. He previously pastored a UCC Church in New Hampshire for 25 years, helped launch Vision One with Vision New England and is President of the Association for Church Renewal.
