Island Outreach

Island Health Services impacts island residents by providing access to high quality health care through a nurse on the Sunbeam and medical specialists via a telemedicine unit on the Sunbeam. Through health clinics, educational health talks, and personalized health care, islanders receive the health care necessary to live on an island year round.

Island Ministries impact residents of nine islands by supporting six ministers who lead worship, counsel islanders, and work with island youth.

Minister to Coastal Communities and Fisheries A sixth minister brings fishermen, regulators, and academicians together to find common ground in preserving the fishing stock while also preserving the jobs that support year round island life.
