Major Gifts & Planned Giving Officer
The Maine Sea Coast Mission (MSCM) is seeking an experienced Major Gifts & Planned Giving Officer. The successful candidate will report to the Director of Development and will work closely with him, the Executive Director, and leadership volunteers in developing and implementing a major gifts plan as well as strategies for increasing planned gifts to the Mission. The MSCM is a donor centered organization where relationships with donors ensure that each donor is aware of the appreciation and impact their gifts have on programs/services. Major gift and planned giving strategies must be developed in accord with this commitment. Position requires a minimum of eight years of progressively more responsible development experience including both major gifts and planned giving experience. Must have experience in developing strong personal relationships and in working with volunteers. Familiarity with Hancock and Washington Counties and island communities is a definite plus. Successful candidate must be comfortable working within an organization with high demands and limited resources.
